Saturday

Saturday was one of the first few pieces of art I created that I really loved. I was feeling like I needed to be true to myself and focus more on my artwork. Art is my meditation.

When I created this piece I was feeling a little down and used art to pick myself up. The hope was that if you’re ever feeling down or having a tough day; seeing this piece would bring some calm and joy. Sandpaper has been used in places to roughen the appearance and give a “raw” appearance as life is raw.
